Torvald: We need to talk. I need you and our children needs you here.  Nora my song bird please stay, I will change for you.
Nora: I'm so confused. I grew up not knowing who I really am and staying here will be living in a fake life again and i can't and...
Torvald: Nora I'm capable of showing my affection of how much I love you. Give me at least one more chance to prove myself and to build that true meaning of life for you and let your children and I be apart of your journey of finding yourself and your future. So don't GO! (holding on to Nora's hands)
Nora: If I give you that chance will you be able to provide my needs. Will you be able to sacrifice your pride your reputation for me, will you be able to listen to my thoughts, opinions? Can you? I thought ss...
Torvald: Wait hear me out.. and if that's the only way to make you stay than so be it but at least give me a chance!
Nora: I need time, time and space!
Torvald: (Nervous) okay if that's what you want
(Nora takes a walk around town and reminisces about the past few weeks)
Nora: (Her thoughts) What have I done, my children don't deserve this! All these years I have been a terrible mother to my children. Leaving them with Torvald will do no good than finding myself if they are in harm.

(A MONTH LATER PASSED.....)

(Nora made up her mind and decided to go back home)
Torvald: (Surprised) Oh, your back (dropped all his papers on the floor) What are you doing here? I thought you decided to to leave us? I'm so confused, why did you come back? (his eyes were teary) Oh Nora..
(In silence, Nora stares at Torvald for a minute and walks her way into the childrens room)
Nora: (She went in and gave a hug to her children, then soon tears began to fall, she whispers) I'm sorry
( Nora realized that her life may have been controlled by the people she loved but one thing she realizes was, that every women is capable of standing on their own, making their own decision.)
Torvald: (with a cheerful smile) I’m so glad you’re back with us my Nora, Darling!
 Nora: I am as well.
(Mrs.Linde had gotten re-married to Krogstad and because things have changed Krogstad found a new job, living a peaceful life with Kristine. Every now and then Nora and Torvald and the children pay there respects to Dr. Rank)

Act Two

In act two there are many things going on. However what caught my attention was Nora's relationship between Dr. Rank, I kind of saw it coming because in the beginning Dr. Rank was kind of suspicious, like i would understand that he's a family friend/ doctor but he visits a lot, like (really). Nora was putting her self out there to Dr. Rank, flirting literally flirting with Dr. Rank which he kind of misinterpret, that made him get tumultuous and spill his feeling towards Nora."I promised myself that I'd tell you before I went away, and I could never have a better opportunity. Well, Nora, now you know. And you know, too, that you can trust me - more than anyone else." pg 194.  Because, Nora was too blundered about the loan she made with Krogstad she was about to ask Dr. Rank for a favor, before he told his feeling for towards Nora. He could have helped but then again she didn't want him getting the wrong impression that she's using him or has feelings for him. Mrs. Linde noticed that Nora has been capricious over past few days and suspects that Nora loaned the money from Dr. Rank but denied the whole thing. But Mrs.Linde eventually finds out about it. And because of the fact that Torvald sent that letter to Krogstad made the situation even worse for Nora. Torvald doesn't want Krogstad in the bank because he hated the fact that they've known each other and how Krogtad calls him by his fist name. Seriously though so what if he knows Torvald can't he like talk to Krogstad about it instead of evading the situation. However, I somehow feel Krogstad situation because Nora asked for a favor and now when he's asking for her help she doesn't really try her hardest to help him. I don't know but this act is starting to built up with more and more lies and once the first lie comes out it will end up like a domino and I think it will turn out bad. I'd like to see who would actually suppress Nora's lies and the reaction of Helmer finding out the truth!!

Act one

In Act one of A Doll's House, one of the character that got me interested was Nora. She was Torvald Helmer's caring wife and a mother of his children. Helmer treats Nora as a child like, innocent wife who should only look ravishing for him, which she really doesn't mind. Nora kept secrets away from Helmer such as the macaroons and how she managed to help travel to Italy by borrowing money because of his illness. Nora borrowed from Krogstad an employee at the bank. However, Torvald is very reluctant about borrowing money even though his life is in danger. Like really, your life is in danger and your gonna be stubborn about it,but why all the way to Italy"Nora, Nora! Just like a woman! But seriously, Nora, you know what I think about that sort of thing. No debts, no borrowing. There's something constrained, something ugly even, about a home that's founded on borrowing and debt."(page 149)

Nora has been telling lies and is making everyone look like a fool. In Helmer's eyes he sees Nora as a frivolous wife who just likes to squander on useless things. "It's a sweet little bird, but it gets through a terrible amount of money. You wouldn't believe how much it costs a man when he's got a little song bird like you!" ( page 151). If Torvald was to find out about Nora borrowing money, their relationship would definitely change because Torvald is a prides man with a big ego. Especially the fact that Nora committed forgery that will make him believe that if a mother is incredulous then the children will too. But I don't think so, sometimes a child wants to be different from their parents, maybe even better. Oh yeah about Mrs. Linde she came to Nora for help to get job from Torvald since he's now the manager of the bank, which is kind of weird because they its been long since they've seen each other then she comes asking for a favor, but then again she's a widow. But now Krogstad is blackmailing Nora about her debt and forgery because he's scared to loose his job. Now, I wonder how Torvald will find out about Nora's Lies.

My Fist Post

Oh my gosh blogging! My name is Mia and being in Ms. Santos class has been great. In her class, there are many things that I have learned from the past few months of school. Blogging is another ways of expressing thoughts and feelings and i look forward to learning more. And in this Blog I will begin talking to you about the author of A Dolls House, Henrik Ibsen.
During the 19th century Henrik Ibsen was an Norwegian playwright and theater director. Born in Skien, Norway in March 20,1828 died Christiania, Norway in May 23, 1906. During his childhood his father was first a shipmaster then a merchant and on the other hand his mother was a painter and was interested in piano and theater. Henrick was the eldest among the five children after his brothers death he was only one and a half years old then Henrik became the eldest child. Both of his parents were successful that he got interest in becoming an artist as well. When Ibsen was eight his father's business failed and went through poverty. As he grew up at the age of fifteen he was forced to leave school so he spent six years as a pharmacist and returned to Christiania in 1857. He had a strong desire to get accepted in a University to get accepted to study medicine. And Because of how Henrik Ibson went though so much pain he wrote plays that indicated his life. Isben married Suzannah Thoresen and had one son, Sigurd. In 1846 while working as an apprentice he had a son in his early relationship with a maid.
